Fun Ways to Practice Sight Words at Home
1. Sight Word Twister
Tape sight words to each circle on the mat and the spinner. Spin a sight word and let the fun begin!
2. Sight Word Discovery Bottles
These are basically like playing "I Spy" in a bottle with sight words.
What's not to love? Great for travel games.

What kid doesn't enjoy jumping on the furniture?

5. Slap it! Flyswatter Practice
This can be played many ways, but is great for two Willoughby readers (playdate game?). Have kids draw and cut out a bee for each sight word. Label each bee with a different sight word. An adult calls out the name of a sight word and the player who swats it first gets to keep the sight word bee.
